Custom Portrait

A few recent custom portraits to share with you in this post. As I rarely update my blog, please follow me on Instagram and/or Facebook for frequent updates!


Here’s a commission portrait of Bijou. Isn’t she pretty?!! Her momma has a love of the 80s and requested for her to ‘walk’ a cassette tape/ boom box. I was also told ‘Bijou’ means ‘jewel’ in French, and so I added a little diamond on her bandana. You can follow Bijou and her equally adorable sister, Daphne at @fluffdogcrew

Next is a commission portrait of Francy. This sweet girl was hit by a car when she was a stray, causing a neurological damage to her face making her looked a little mean. She was later adopted and lived a wonderful 22 years. Her momma constantly reminded us of just how gentle, sweet and kind this girl was despite her outer appearance and what she had been through. Francy crossed the rainbow bridge last month, joining her little brother I had grown to love. Thank you for commissioning a portrait of your beloved baby from me @odieseyes . I hope you find a little comfort each time you look at this piece of Francy art.

So I spent the past few days restructuring my website and also adjusted the pricing. Custom Portrait

Two years ago, I had the privilege to customise a portrait for a lovely client from Japan for her wedding. Now two years later, she contacted me again. This time to commission a portrait for her parents for their 30th wedding anniversary gift. My extreme honour! Thank you SO much, Aoba, you have no idea how much your support and faith in my works mean to me.

They lost their beloved dog, Sakura last year and requested to have her drawn in the portrait.

I threw in a card for them and handwritten the message on behalf of my client. :)

She even sent me photos after they received the artwork (I got her permission to share the photos). So sweet!

**Custom Portrait Special Offer**

From now till end of June, I’m offering a custom portrait illustration at a special price of US$150 (usual price $200+). :D This would make a perfect gift! Price includes a stylized illustration of TWO characters (eg. 1 human+1pet, 2 humans or 2 pets) with full colour background, A4 size. $60 for per additional character. You need to send me a photo for the portrait and I will draw according to what I see in the photo.

The artwork will be printed using fade resistant ink (archival print) on matte, off-white, textured acid free paper stock (320gsm) and mail to you. No soft copy file. Packaging/postage for shipping within Singapore @ US$5 and any other countries @$10. Pls refer to below images for ideas and reviews from past clients. Other artwork dimensions are available, please enquire.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for order processing. I will send you a final proof before sending it for printing. Shipping duration within Singapore takes 2-5 working days and every other countries 6-10 working days. Feel free to drop me a message if you have any question or email to info@mydollgift.com

Custom Family Portrait (New Adventure!)

For this piece, besides wanting her hubby & her to be holding an USA and Korea flag, client hoped to have the continent of North America and Asia to be incorporated into the artwork. I suggested a sunrise background to symbolize a new beginning for their upcoming adventure and also a pier since it was where they had their wedding shoot.

I want to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to this very sweet lady @didel613. This was the 3rd time she engaged my service - each time she’d given me her full trust and the absolute freedom of expression, not to mention she’s always full of appreciation for my effort. Thank you also for the permission to share your lovely message (scroll down to see her message). Custom Family Portrait/ Baby Announcement

Commissioned family portrait: Baby announcement with Disney/ Spring theme. This is another surprise gift order (so much love lately!) from a sweet husband to his beautiful wife who will be due in April. (Okay someone finds me a husband like that pls! Ha!). This has to be the most detailed piece I’d ever done thus far and I’m very happy with the result. I was told this morning that his wife received the art piece and was in happy tears. Knowing that clients love their order and appreciate my effort is the most rewarding thing for me. I’m not going to tag them in this post until they make the announcement themselves. I’m so excited for the arrival of their baby! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I love this piece so much too.
