Price stated on this website is in United States dollar (USD).

Commissions

General:

  • I only do digital art commissions at the moment. You will receive a digital file of the artwork, suitable for printing. No physical copy of the artwork is included.

  • Limited slots are open at a given time. Only after I have received your payment will you be added to the commission list.

  • Commissions will be drawn in my art style, not anime or any other artist’s style.

  • I can draw OCs, fanart, portraits of people, pets and animals. I will not draw pornography, extreme NSFW, hateful art, gore, and mechas. Feel free to ask me about it or if you have any other question.

  • All delivered artworks are for personal use only. For commercial commissions, the rates will be higher, please contact me at info@mydollgift.com to enquire. 

  • I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason.

Request Commission:

To request a quotation or order a personal commission, please send me an email with the following information:

  • Commission type/ art style: eg. Semi-realistic art style, half-body of 1 character, no background. Or stylized pet portrait of 2 pets, etc.

  • Please include visual references and a good description. The more information the better - characters, poses, colors, desired elements, etc.

Payment:

  • Payment is due in full upfront for any commission equal to or below $200 USD.

  • For amount greater than $200 USD, payment plans are available. These will depend on the price and commission type.

  • Please do not send me any money before I offer you a slot and request for you to make the payment.

  • Payment can be made via PayPal. PayNow is possible if you have a Singapore bank account (I will let you know the rate in SGD currency).

Cancellation & Refund:

  • If you wish to cancel your commission during the sketch stage you will be refunded 50% of what you have paid.

  • If you wish to cancel your commission after the sketching stage, there will be no refund.

  • You will receive a full refund if for any unjustifiable reason that I am unable to complete the commission.

Process:

  • Get in touch to request a quotation/ book a slot.

  • After the payment is received, I will start working and send you the initial sketch(es) to approve and request adjustments. You will receive updates from me on the process regularly until completion.

  • Minor changes (eg. small details, colors adjustment) are possible at any stage (up to 3 revisions per stage). If you require a major change after I have completed the final line work (e.g. change of pose, background), I will charge an extra. The amount of the extra charge depends on the complexity of the changes.

  • You will receive the completed artwork in A4 size, 300 dpi (Jpeg or Png format) and a smaller web version that you can post online if you want. There will be no physical copy. If you would like to have a physical print or merchandise of the artwork, let me know. In this case, the cost of the printing and shipping will be added to the commission price.

  • The time it takes to finish your commission varies from 2 weeks to 3 months depending on factors such as your position in the commission list, the complexity of the commissioned piece, the amount of changes to be made after each revision, etc. I will give you an estimated timeline before we start and if delays arise, you will be notified.

Priority Commission:

  • If you need a commission piece urgently (less than 2 weeks), you may request for priority order + 25% commission price. Please check with me in advance to ensure the timeline is doable before making payment.

Copyright & Usage:

  • I reserve the right to decline or cancel an order at any time for any reason. You will receive a full refund if you have already made your payment in this case.

  • Prices are for personal use only; no commercial use allowed. You may not profit from the artwork, sell prints or products, etc. However you may make prints for personal use.

  • Using the artwork for your brand, promotional/ marketing purposes or on social media/ streaming platforms such as Youtube/ Twitch etc. also count as commercial use and therefore are not allowed. If you are unsure, feel free to check with me.

  • You may resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in a non-commercial setting, but you are not allowed to alter the artwork itself.

  • By commissioning me, you are purchasing my artist labour and a digital copy of your commissioned artwork. I retain the full rights to my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, copy and/or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion.

  • If you would like the commission to remain private (not ever published anywhere), please let me know in advance.

  • You are welcome to upload your commissioned artwork to social media as long as you credit me properly for the work.

  • I reserve the right to reuse sketches and design elements rejected by you for other commissions or personal works.

Merchandise

  • If you would like to purchase merchandise with my artwork, you may do so at: www.redbubble.com/people/dollgift/shop. 

  • If you see an artwork you like in my portfolio gallery that is not listed on Redbubble, feel free to check with me.

Note: Redbubble is a third party print-on-demand store. Therefore I do not have control over their production and logistical matters. All orders from Redbubble will be manufactured and shipped from USA, UK or Australia depending on your location. However, if you have questions regarding your order, feel free to contact me and I will try my best to help.
